Spirituality

While many mainstream religious denominations express negative views or practices towards GLBT people, thre are some which actively embrace GLBT people as individuals as both individuals and sexual beings. Reformed Judaism, the United Church of Christ, some Angelican and Presbyterian churches welcome members regardless of sexual practices and some even welcome ordination of GLBT clerics and affirmation of same sex unions.

GLBT people also have formed organizations within many mainstream organizations that are not explicitly supportive in an attempt to continue some level of participation in the religion.
